Riverfront Park Community Foundation funds are used toward certain educational, cultural and/or recreational facilities, equipment, events or activities or operations as determined by the Executive Board to benefit Riverfront Park and the surrounding downtown community.
A significant portion of the Foundation’s contributions has been allocated to the capital start up of PlatteForum, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Riverfront Park. PlatteForum is a one-of-a-kind center connecting education + art + youth. PlatteForum’s mission is to promote the development of the arts among underserved youth and to provide space for arts and education organizations, and to stimulate the involvement of downtown Denver residents in area education and arts organizations.
